Back when it was American Idol 3, I really liked Jennifer Hudson. But then she got voted out and I never heard of her again. Until a few months ago that is, when I read that she got the role of Effie in Dreamgirls alongside with Beyonce, Jamie Foxx and Eddie Murphy.
My favourite song on the movie isn't One Night Only, or even And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going, but this catchy little ditty written by the original writers that was added to the movie. (Beyonce's songs are hugely disappointing on the soundtrack. Jennifer Hudson is clearly superior when put next to her.)
