But at the same time, hypothetically, if I were still in Singapore and were asked to go, I don't think I would've gone. Lao Shi used to be so encouraging to me and the rest of the CATS, and I think he used to expect something out of me that I never delivered. Plus, you know, the whole not having touched an instrument for over a year thing. I would've been ashamed to turn up at the prac and to produce sounds that belonged in a rubbish dump.

Sometimes I really miss playing a lot.
